Heysham Ferry crossing to Belfast


The Heysham Ferry T.S.S. Duke of Lancaster which sailed between Heysham and Belfast in the 50's and 60's was a popular tourist British rail ferry. Claude Buckle painted this ferry at least four times producing two carriage prints and two railway posters. (See Ireland Overnight and page carriage print of T.S.S.
