The Scott Monument is a Victorian Gothic monument to the Scottish author Sir Walter Scott. It stands in Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh. The view is from the national Gallery towards princess street and Waverley Station. The "Gilbert Bayers Sphere" on top of Top shop shown in the distance is currently being restored (2012).
