A true relic from the past. This Carriage Print by Claude Buckle shows Euston Station as it was in 1950 with its huge Doric Tower with the lettering Euston on it. The station was demolished in 1960. The location map shows exactly where the Doric Tower used to be. St John Betjeman fought an unsuccessful campaign to save the Propylaeum known as the Euston Arch. Created in 1950.
